Surya Namaskar is a set of asanas in a combination of 12 steps. All the 12 steps are to be done in a chronological manner in order to complete the process of one round of Surya Namaskar.

Students and teachers also practice yoga sessions time to time.

The students under Subject enrichment activity performed the Lung Capacity building asanas like Anulom Vilom and Kapalbhati.

Boscons enthusiastically participated in Sports Day conducted last month by participating in various activities. It was indeed a promising sight to see young students indulging in various sports activities to learn physical and mental discipline and get rid of stress that accumulates daily in both body and mind.

Initiative 2- Innovative Ideas with Logic: Young Boscons did scientific research and prepared PPTs and videos to combat water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases to ensure healthy and safe lives.

Initiative 3- Road Safety Awareness: An online workshop on ‘Road Safety Awareness’ was organised. The session aimed to make the roads safer and completely accident-free zones. The eminent resource person for the session was Mr. Manoj Kumar Chandel and Mr. Neeraj, ASI for Road Safety in Punjabi Bagh, along with his team members, enlightened the Boscons about safety rules, control on speed limit, the need of discipline on roads and importance of road safety education.

Initiative 4- Awareness Campaign to reduce illness and improve quality of life: To demonstrate the habit of Healthy Handwashing power point presentation activity was taken up with an aim to contribute to the development and implementation of an effective behavior change and ensure that all children follow safe hand hygiene behaviors at all times.

An online awareness program on ‘Menstrual Health and Hygiene’ was organised on February 8, 2022 for the girls on the topic of ‘Mother-Daughter Health and Hygiene’. It motivated the students to lead a life with grace and dignity.

The diligent Boscons made posters to capture the attention of the people and spread awareness about ‘Importance of Vaccination in Infants’. A google form was floated for the parents to know their understanding on Vaccination in Infants. Furthermore, the students were assessed through another Google form to test their understanding on communicable diseases.
