Description

Initiative 1- Success is best when it's shared :

Activity - Assembly on Labour Day

To ensure a safe and congenial environment for the support staff of the institution a special assembly on the occasion of labour day was organized as an annual feature of the school. A beautiful dance performance, poetry, news & thought of the day which were presented by the support staff of the school that was the attraction of the assembly. Garlands & greeting cards made by students were presented to all the workers.

Initiative 2- Childhood is for Learning, not for Earning :

Activity - Campaign to End Child Labour

The economic growth on the cost of health & future of our young children is no growth. Child labour is a curse and dark spot on our society. Henceforth, we at BOSCO took the initiative to sensitize people about child labour. A campaign by class 5 students was conducted to highlight the issues and problems associated with child labour. An appeal was made by our little Boscons to come forward & work towards eliminating child labour, thereby, contributing to a safe & healthy environment for these children.

Initiative 3- Experience a Burst of Freshness with our Eco-Friendly Products :

Activity - Ad-Venture (Advertisement making)

In order to ensure growth and protection of the environment as another target of SDG-8, promotion of economically viable & socially useful products was taken up by class XII students. An advertisement making activity named Ad-venture was organized as an inter-house activity in which the students came up with innovative ideas such as the use of eco-friendly garbage threshers, earthen pots & other organic products.

Initiative 4- Respecting their work by respecting them :

Activity - Initiatives by students in their neighbourhood

An initiative was taken up by our middle department where our students from classes 6th to 8th made all the efforts to enhance the quality of life of the people who help them in their day-to-day chores at home& in their neighbourhood. Be it teaching, playing, dancing or giving gifts, Boscons left no stone unturned to make them feel happy.

This is not the end…as we must go on with such initiatives for sustainable development. May God bless us all with the ability strength to protect & nurture this beautiful creation of almighty-our planet.
