1. A child will be allowed to leave the school premises only after obtaining due permission of the
Principal on the 'Gate Pass' and its deposition at the gate.
2. Leave for half day is not allowed.
3. In case of extreme emergency, parents should meet the Front Office Executive with their request to take
the child out of school. The child will not be sent with relatives or neighbours.
4. On any assessment day, incase, the child had to leave the school early, the answer sheet will not be
considered for assessment.
Students falling short of required attendance (minimum 75% as per CBSE by-laws) during the academic session will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.
It is a matter of deep concern that parents send their children to school suffering from infectious
ailments. This can result in an epidemic outbreak. If children come to school with any infectious ailment,
they will be sent back home.
Students suffering from diseases like cholera, measles, mumps and jaundice must complete the quarantine
period before re-joining the school. This should be indicated in the medical certificate.
Parent Teacher Meeting is a prominent and notable feature of the school curriculum. It enables parents to have close interaction with teachers in context to the progress and behaviour of their child. They can exchange suggestions in order to find workable solutions to the problems.
The House System is an integral and vibrant part of the school's culture. Students from class III onwards are assigned one of the four houses namely - Tagore, Tilak, Nehru and Gandhi. It aims at giving students an identity and sense of pride in a supportive and secure environment. The Houses compete in a number of sports, academic and cultural activities. It provides for positive competition and a closer rapport between students and teachers. Regular House Meetings are conducted to brief students about the upcoming activities and competitions.
